I feel like I haven't embraced the Greek culture since moving to the Danforth, so last night (in the blizzard) we went up to eat at Mezes. The atmosphere was really lively and to Scott's major approval, they had a big screen showing the Women's Hockey Gold medal game. About 5 minutes before our girls won, the entire kitchen staff came out to watch and when the game was over, everyone in the restaurant cheered but no one looked more pleased than the hard workers cooking up the delicious food. I love how the Olympics unifies the country no matter what nationality you are.
