This was a really big day in my life. I accepted a Category Manager position at my dream company (Indigo) and resigned from Canadian Tire. It was nervewracking, happy, and sad all wrapped into one. I can't wait to tackle this new opportunity!

It rained during DIY day yesterday but my team wouldn't quit. So we spent approximately 4 hours outside in the cold rainy weather doing car jobs. It sucked and as I result I woke up today feeling really sick. I take Cold FX everyday and it offered no protection against this insane cold. Maybe it's allergies? I don't know but I want it gone from life. Even my daily B12 tablet didn't give me the same pep it normally does!

So if you are an avid reader (Mom, I think you might be alone in this camp!) you know that we had a terrible customer service experience with Sears. They were the pits. As a result of some pretty strong statements from Scott, they gave us a sizeable gift certificate to essential shut our traps. At the time it was kind of like, why would we buy anything from this obviously crappy store? This weekend, that question was solved. We got a pretty snazzy looking BBQ! Apparently, this type of grill cooks food better (or so Scott convinced me to believe). Regardless, I'm glad that our Sears days are over and I have a working furnance and now handsome BBQ.

Happy Birthday Mommy! xoxo
