My department at work has been recently re-organized. It is now much like having the same parents and siblings but different cousins and grandparents. Today we had a "get to know you" session with our new team. They rented out a movie theater at the local Cineplex and it was a sold out crowd.
My new president seems very nice and gave out prizes at the end of his presentation. As soon as he picked my name out of the box...i knew i was in for it. He stared at it quizzically for a few seconds and then went "Lesley Coco, Kiki, Cookoo, Cookie....etc" until I made my way down the long aisle (I was in the exact back of the theater). Once I got to the front, he made me tell the massive crowd my last name as he chuckled to himself like a mad men.
At least I got a $50 gift card as compensation. C-O-U-G-H-T-R-E-Y
