365: A Year in the Life Of LC

Day One Hundred and Fifty-Eight: June 7th

This was a really big day in my life. I accepted a Category Manager position at my dream company (Indigo) and resigned from Canadian Tire. It was nervewracking, happy, and sad all wrapped into one. I can't wait to tackle this new opportunity!

Day One Hundred and Fifty-Seven: June 6th

We left the cottage at 9am (it was pouring rain and didn't look like it was going to let up anytime soon) to go home and prep for our dinner party. We had 3 couples come over, 2 have babies. One little lady, Anna, came over and melted my heart. She loves painted nails, purses and shoes and would just point to stuff she liked on you and say "very nice". I could have hugged her forever.

Day One Hundred and Fifty-Six: June 5th

This picture won best photo in last year's Cottage Life photo contest. The kids look really excited to be swimming in the rain - it is super cute. Not super cute was my Saturday. It POURED all day long. It finally cleared at night which was great because we were able to go to the McCabes to hang out. Oh cottage nights - I love you.

Day One Hundred and Fifty-Five: June 4th

It rained during DIY day yesterday but my team wouldn't quit. So we spent approximately 4 hours outside in the cold rainy weather doing car jobs. It sucked and as I result I woke up today feeling really sick. I take Cold FX everyday and it offered no protection against this insane cold. Maybe it's allergies? I don't know but I want it gone from life. Even my daily B12 tablet didn't give me the same pep it normally does!

Day One Hundred and Fifty-Four: June 3rd

I was in Bolton all day today for a team building DIY day. I did a brake job, switched out spark plugs, and replaced headlights. Not my cup of tea in the least but it was educational. Doing car jobs isn't very hard, I think people get scared off too easily. If I can do it, anyone can.

Day One Hundred and Fifty Three: June 2nd

Matching a bright lime dress with appropriate shoes is HARD. I went to Town Shoes and met a wonderfully flamboyant guy who thought the shoes above in gold would be magic. Let's hope he is right!

Day One Hundred and Fifty-Two: June 1st

I'm attending a wedding next weekend (good friends Rob and Lesley) and purchased this dress to wear for it. Do you like it? It definitely is a POW! colour.
